Un Bagliore (2025), for Clarinet, Violin, Cello, Piano
Un Bagliore draws inspiration from the profound exploration of spirituality in the poetics of Jon Fosse, in which humanity's longing for God becomes language through the very act of searching. This composition seeks to embody that journey, reaching for a tangible connection to that same experience of the sacred. The piece searches for a luminous harmony, for the discovery of a shining amid the darkness, where each instrument's individual voice can dissolve into a greater whole. From this perception, musical fragments emerge: echoes of a possible meaning that disintegrate the moment they are barely suggested. They are memories and distorted images, surfacing from a collective memory, that hint at a reconciliation of meaning which nonetheless remains beyond reach.
