Vento d'Inverno, for Viola and Live Electronics (2020)
A short music work that tries to portray the chill of the first winter air of late November: Bridge sounds from the Viola are picked up and filtered to form a distant echo that exudes chill, the coming of the cold. Stillness from the instrument is embedded into the slow movement of Live electronics faders to draw a landscape of faux sounds, artefacts of desolation and latent sadness.
