Festlig Musik (2024)

Program Note: Festlig Musik, is a fractal-like recreation of festive marching band sonorities. woodwind scales interweave in sinuous lines, forming richly layered textures in support of an intricate brass fanfare motif. Restless and humorous, the music evokes a sense of tumultuous agitation and enthusiasm. The hectic pace channels the frenetic energy of modern-day life and it’s complexity, even in celebratory moments.
